Lettuce, Chinese Vegies, Silverbeet, Spring Onion, Celery and all Leaf Vegies'.

Place in a sealed container in the fridge. This will prevent limping.

Carrots, Broccoli, Capsicum, Zucchini, Snow Peas, Beans, Fruits and Tomatoes.

Place in a produce roll bag / freezer bag before being paced in the fridge

Potatoes, Onion and Pumpkin.

Place in a plastic shopping bag or brown paper bag in the pantry. This will prevent potatoes from going green.

Avocados and Banana's.

Place in a bowl on the bench. If the fruit is under ripe put it in a freezer bag with a ripe piece of fruit ie. Apple, Banana's, etc.

A gas called ethylene comes out of the ripe fruit and is trapped inside the sealed bag, therefore speeding up the ripening process.

Over Ripe Mangoes.

Peel and remove seed from flesh. Place mango pulp in a container in the freezer to use in a recipe when not in season.
